Fiddlesticks Cafe - Elkhorn

It appears they are closed permanently ?? We are heart broken.... anyone know what happened?

We went based off Yelp reviews. There was a sign posted saying they were short staffed, one waitress was working the entire restaurant, including bussing the tables. Due to this the wait was quite long to order and be served, but to no fault of the solo employee. That being said the food was great. We had the soufflé and a standard breakfast with eggs/hash browns. Everything was cooked as ordered and all the menu options sounded great and prices reasonable for food. Would go back again.

Reallllly good, generous portions. Monty had the brisket eggs Benedict. Very large portion of smoked brisket! The hollandaise was brisket appropriate. He had the hash browns which were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I had the Riviera omelette. Omelette was moist and fluffy, I don't like dry eggs. I had the red pesto potatoes and they were crispy which I like. Despite being short staffed the service was very attentive by checking in. We will definitely be back. A good Elkhorn find!!!

Terribly slow service, greasy bacon, burnt French toast, pesto potatoes instead of hash browns, all around not good!

My wife and I went here for a date night. We really loved the place, the whole vibe, and the owner/chef. The food was cooked perfectly and we plan to comeback here more.
