Always a treat! Not to mention the only place around that still has green river too ; UPDATED 2023: Getting a bit pricey but the food is still good. A gallon of root beer or green river is always a treat!.......yum!! Now closed for the season but they'll be back in the Spring! Service: Take out Price per person: $10–20

We had lunch here on their last day open for the season (closed for winter months). The experience is unique, as you can drive up to an order box and eat in your car, or you can choose to sit at a picnic table and order. They have a huge menu with so many choices. I ordered the chicken fritters and they were so crispy with a nicely seasoned batter. Their Root Beer is also amazing, although we were too full from our lunch to enjoy one of their famous Root Beer floats. We will definitely visit again if we're ever in the area. Parking: Park at an order box, or you can park in the small lot and walk up to a table. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid friendly food options
