We have been to the Tiki bar numerous times in the past. My wife and I generally always have a good time as the view is great and the service staff are always friendly. We went there to listen to live music on 6 Aug and the experience was just ok. It was a little busy and only one table server and two bartenders. So we went to bar to order drinks and food, we were fine with that. One of the bar tenders was armed with a flyswatter to fight back the bees swarming around the trash at the bar and it took 40 minutes to get nachos (menu said chips were home made, pretty sure that they were just the various colored ones you can buy at the store). They did comp the nachos and that helped. The part that drove me to write this review is that the lift up counter at the bar really needs to be repaired by the owners, it looked a little scary when the bar tender had to man handle it to lift it up to let a customer in a wheel chair go by as that is the route to get to the ramp. Wasn't very busy. Bartenders were nice. She was kind enough to put our drinks in a cup with a lid so we could try to keep the wasps out. There were a lot of wasps out. The view is amazing. Chairs aren't too comfy for sitting and chatting. We did get a bit of rain but the lower bar does have a shelter area to sit. Was a nice place to visit.
