Olde Main Eatery Sweet Shop - Elk River

This is an excellent restaurant for a family meal! The staff is fantastic, and the food is delicious!

They also forgot several items from our order, so we had to remind them. When the waitress asked if we needed anything else and I started to respond, she just walked away as if she hadn't even heard me. On top of that, I was overcharged, and when I called to address it, the staff member told me I needed to resolve it with the server. That was odd—I’ve never encountered that before. Then the manager got on the phone, barely listened to my concern, and yelled, “We’re busy right now! If you want your $5, come on in, and I’ll write you a check for your frickin’ $5!” When I asked how he felt about Google reviews, he dismissively said he didn’t care and then hung up on me. It really makes me wonder what else they’re indifferent about. At this point, it’s clear what my hundred dollars bought me here. It’s a lesson learned. If there were a guidebook on terrible customer service, I’m sure this restaurant would be well-acquainted with it. There are plenty of other dining options in the area, and I certainly won’t be returning to this one.

We had heard this place was must try in Elk River. Unfortunately, we we 're unable to try it. We came inside, sat down, and then left after not getting service for 15 minutes.

I really enjoy eating breakfast here, very good every time.
