Larsen's Pub - Elk Horn

I live in town and their food is the last place for me to choose in town including their supposed best tenderloin in Iowa. I will go to other places that are 15 minutes to an hour away for a better tenderloin. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on good tenderloins but this place wouldn't make my top 50 in southwest Iowa alone. Note I went here several years ago once when I first moved into town haven't stepped foot inside this establishment since.

Very good pork tenderloin. We also try to go at least once while we are visiting folks in the area.

Tenderloin and waffle fries will fill you up, most times wife has to get a doggie bag.

Best tenderloin sandwich I've ever had. Check the hours of operation before planning on a side trip...or stop by the local antique mall in their off hours.There's a surprisingly high quality feel in the little pub. I look forward to going back!

Its too bad their website is not updated as to the correct times of operation. 3 cars of people came there at the same time for lunch, Larsen's despite the website saying it was open,was closed. All 3 cars had the same idea to head to Darryl's for a great tenderloin and pie for lunch. We were not together as a group,but as 3 separate groups. Update your website!
