Contribuiți la feedbackWe had a really disappointing experience. We placed our order through GrubHub since we were at a hotel and didn't want to go out. We ordered a pretzel bun burger with chili fries and bacon, spicy nuggets with sauce, and a baked potato. What we received was just the fries, a regular cheeseburger without the pretzel bun, the nuggets without sauce, and no potato at all.
This Wendy's consistently disappoints me. Every single visit, there seems to be an issue. The food is cold and poorly assembled, and I'm often missing condiments. I ordered a double stack burger, but it wasn't put together right—the bun was soggy, and I got only one tiny pickle. I also ordered a Chicken BLT sandwich, and shockingly, there wasn't a single strip of bacon on it. You're rushed through the drive-thru for overpriced food that's poorly made and not served fresh or hot. This clearly reflects poor management all around. I will never return to this Wendy's again. Even though it was midnight, I know these are adults preparing the food, not just high school kids. If this is the quality you're offering, then it's unreasonable to keep raising your prices.
Kudos for a quick drive-thru experience! There were several cars in front of me, which can usually be a dealbreaker for fast food. However, they were impressively fast this time. While it didn’t completely make up for my previous visits, it was still commendable. The chicken sandwich was decent, but I don’t think it was worth nearly $8. It seems that in an attempt to offset inflation and losses from COVID, they’ve priced themselves out of the value range for customers like me. Experiencing sticker shock can really leave a lasting impression.
This meant I had to drive back and wait in line again at the drive-thru, which took another 10 minutes just to explain the problem. While they eventually corrected my order, I noticed I was still missing one item. Additionally, my child had ordered some food but wasn’t charged for it. Fortunately, the manager handled the situation well; he apologized, ensured I received the rest of my order, and comped my child's meal. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, but I appreciated the manager's response.
When did it become acceptable to serve cold French fries to customers? It's really unpleasant. Just fry them again! I'd much rather have extra grease than soggy, cold potatoes. Please don't serve food that you wouldn't want to eat yourself.
