Tops Yogurt - Elk Grove

Today, I had a negative experience at the restaurant due to one of the employees. He racially profiled me and aggressively questioned me right after I sampled a couple of yogurt flavors, as if he thought I wasn't going to pay. His behavior was extremely rude and completely uncalled for, leaving me feeling very uncomfortable. Although I had never encountered him before, I won't be returning as long as he is employed there. On a positive note, the yogurt was delicious, so my comments are not aimed at the owners.

This is an excellent frozen yogurt shop that offers a wide variety of flavors and toppings to choose from!

The yogurt is delicious, but there's a persistent smell of chemical cleaning supplies in the air. You really don't need heavy-duty cleaners to keep the place sanitized. It often has the scent of a gas station restroom. Other than that, the service is fantastic, and the frozen yogurt is excellent.

While we were there, my brother noticed that some of the fresh fruit was spoiled but still sitting in the containers. I mentioned that many business owners hesitate to throw away overripe fruit since it impacts their profits. Plus, teenagers might not care too much if their strawberries are soft. As a result, we chose not to include any fresh fruit in our cups. Overall, it was a bit pricey but still a fun experience!

They offer some excellent froyo options, but I must say their website has incorrect hours. They actually close at 11 PM, not midnight. I travel an hour to get there, so it's frustrating to find them closed when I arrive. On the bright side, their selection of toppings is fantastic! However, there are times when I call and no one answers, leaving me unsure if they're open. It's not really worth the trip if they've closed early and I didn’t know about it.
