Happy Elephant - Elk Grove Village

I ordered the chicken pad thai for the second time. I was surprised to find it also had tofu in it, which was not mentioned in the description. The dish was very dry and lacked flavor. I was disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant again.

This place is amazing. I absolutely love their food and it never disappoints. I usually order takeout and have never encountered any issues. I highly recommend trying the pot stickers and crab rangoon, I order one or the other almost every time I get food from here. The staff are incredibly friendly and I can't wait to go back!

I love this Thai restaurant! The service is exceptional and I always enjoy my visits here. The pot stickers and crab Rangoon are fantastic. I usually order the Pad Woonsen or Pad Thai and both are delicious.

So I used to go to this Thai place in Addison that had some of the best Thai food and my favorite dish which is drunken noodles. Unfortunately that place closed due to the pandemic. So I have find a new Thai place. Sadly this wasn?t it for me. I ordered myusual dish with shrimp and a coconut shrimp appetizer. The coconut shrimp was the best part. The DN? Well it didn?t taste likethe drunken noodles that I usually expect from Thai cuisine. I also tasted pineapple and I never had pineapple on the disheither idk. The noodles were find but the seasonings felt bland. Could have used more. Also the size of the dinner entree dishlooked more like a lunch special size potion. SMH. Well at least the coconut shrimp was delicious along with the sweet and soursauce. Great crunch and flavor. Nice balance. But oh well, I?ll be looking elsewhere for my beloved drunken noodles.

This restaurant is a fantastic place to escape to! Make sure to try their peanut sauce, it's incredibly delicious. I've been coming here for years and have never had a negative experience. It's a lovely family-run business.
