The Village Squire (west Dundee)

We have been going to the Village Squire for many years. The bar grub is always excellent. We especially love the Saganaki, Oopa Shrimp, and their other appetizers. The Filet Sliders never disappoint and for the October Fest menu, I tried the Pork Schnitzel with Potato Pancakes and really enjoyed it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50

Great local irrigation hole. The food is good. The beer is good. The drinks are good. People are friendly. As a bonus, the place is quite neatly decorative. You have plenty of space for all your friends. You could probably have your annual Loyal Order of Water Buffaloes banquet here if you asked nicely. Are you standing next to the river and wondering if you should go in? Just go, drink and enjoy. You deserve it!

Prime Rib was good. Drinks were also very good. Wife's Burger was blah, which would have been a 4 star, but our waitress Taylor was very friendly and service was great.
