Taco Stop - Elgin

Best BREAKFAST TACOS EVER!!! Although I no longer live in Elgin, I always make it a point to stop by this amazing family-run taco shop whenever I'm in town. It's truly a hidden gem. The handmade tortillas and wonderful salsas elevate their tacos to another level! If you're a meat lover, be sure to try the Texas Tech Taco—you won't regret it!

Absolutely the best! I've been away from my hometown for a few years, but upon returning, I found that it remains THE BEST! The only thing I would suggest changing is the closing time. There are days when I'm so busy that I don't get a chance to eat until around 1 or 2 PM.

These damn breakfast tacos are awesome. Side of the road spot that you will miss if you drive to fast...so slow down and stop. Believe me it's worth it.

A fantastic spot to kick off your day! Their homemade flour tortillas are a rare find in the city.

If you see a line in front, go in! Tacos are soooo good! I would have published a photo of the food, but we ate it too fast.
