The wait was too long and the food was disappointing. The service was also not up to par.

This place is incredible! It was our first visit but certainly not our last. The Italian food was absolutely amazing, prepared by the owner. We were seated at a table where we could see right into the kitchen and watch the food being prepared. The bread with marinara was outstanding, as was everything else we ordered. We were too full for dessert, so we took a tiramisu home and it was delicious! We can't wait to visit again.

We really enjoyed our drop in last minute visit to this cute family owned casual restaurant in Elgin! We had mozzarella sticks and calamari as an appetizer, both were cooked well, seasoned nicely and the price was very reasonable! We had chicken cacciatore, chicken Parmesan and noodles with vegetables and sauce. Oh and some fabulous complementary rolls soft pillowy and warm! everything was fresh, the pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and our attentive, cute server Jolie was delightful! Note: the bathrooms were clean, the decor was simple. We will be back!

Scam, Rude. Its sad it used to be a great place now its worst customer service than Walmart Towards the beginning of Covid, I had a extremely long wait (5 plus hours) to get two appetizers two meals and two desserts. The owner was under staffed just him and was having issues with the online ordering giving incorrect wait times. I had my work computer and passed the time learning the history of the restaurant/ his dream. At the end he wanted to refund my order which I would not let him. He insisted, A LOT... I gave in on a gift card he gave me a gift card for $75. I picked up food couple more times over the next few weeks , didn't seem right to use a gift card when he was clearly struggling to do what he loves. Fast forward to 2022, all new staff tells me that the gift card that has the stores name and has never been used, they will not honor. They were rude, didn't seem to care at all.

The food is excellent. People are friendly. But the food is a bit pricey. You can rack up a bill pretty quickly. But all in all it was good.
