Delicia Tropical Cafe - Elgin

Honestly we saw the reviews on yelp and decided to try expecting it was going to be good but we didn't know it was going to be phenomenal. We ordered tostones and a beef stew dish and a chicken dish. Definitely our new favorite place.

Delicious. Very friendly staff. The plantain sandwich with pork was fantastic. They also have a variety of Puerto Rican canned sodas. The food was out quickly too!

The staff is so sweet. We loved our food. The restaurant was very clean. The food was delicious and authentic! Service was excellent and the cafe con leche was on point!

Their food is always delicious! I order from here pretty regularly and am never disappointed. Although I’ve only ever tried their Jibaroto, I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!

I enjoy the flavor of their cooking. I must say that as an Puerto Rican Islander, they make me remember my abuelita (grandma). Don't expect a fancy restaurant, it's a family small place but the food it's amazing. Service is good, p it was not busy when I was there, and the place is clean. They have plenty of parking. Don't leave without trying their Flan!
