Dairy Queen - Elba

Honestly, giving dairy queen a three star review because since their chicken finger baskets changed they have given the bare minimum amount of food and beverage. It used to be my go to meal. My husband went one day to get us lunch on his break fromwork. He sent me a picture of my lunch he had just paid for. The picture was of all four chicken fingers in his hand. They didnot overlap, go passed the side of his palm and each single chicken finger had space in between them. That's how tiny they were.I'm not a confrontational person by any means. But I really don't know anyone would appreciate paying $9.57+ for a four piecechicken finger basket, several (the definition of several is four or more) burnt french fries and a watered down, flat soda. Ihonestly love Dairy Queen. But since they changed this certain item and others also, the quality of the food has gone downdrastically. I'm not the only person that thinks so either. The ice cream, still delicious. But, it's ice cream.

Just bought a small Butterfinger Blizzard for $5.22 and there were a few dust pieces of Butterfinger but mostly I paid for vanilla ice cream. Pitiful!!!

I primarily visit this restaurant for the desserts because they are amazing. They also have solid options for lunch, like their chicken fingers.

I recently left a restaurant after ordering a cheeseburger combo with a medium shake and a fish sandwich with fries, totaling $19.58. Upon arriving home, my husband took a sip of the shake and had a negative reaction, noting that it smelled and tasted like Creomulsion cough medicine. This was surprising to us as he has always enjoyed shakes from this establishment. Despite attempting to call the restaurant for an explanation, we were unable to reach anyone. Hence, I am leaving this review to bring attention to the issue. It's important to investigate if there is an issue with the machines or mixes to prevent others from experiencing the same unpleasant situation.

The service at this restaurant is slow, but considering it's one of only three fast food options in Elba, I don't have many other choices. The Burger King here is terrible, so this is the only other burger option available.
