Don Waffly - El Rio

I LOVE this place. Even my picky eater who doesn't eat anything took half my fluffy scramble sandwich and said she is in heaven! The combination off egg, cheese, sriracha mayo and those grilled onions is the best combination! So delicious! The waffle sticks are amazing as well. Can't come to Oxnard without stopping here! We live 2 hours away. The service is great too, the girls are always sweet. I've had conversations with Don Waffly himself. Keep doing what you do! We'll be back!

Food was good so they get a star for that but I was bummed out because I did the order on line since I was in a hurry and I got there to grab the order but they wouldn’t give it to me because there was a line. I had to wait about 5 min for a sandwich that was made 15 min prior. Isn’t the point of on line orders to just grab and go??? I feel like a worker could’ve taken 5 seconds to hand me my bag and not have me wait. (I asked 2x explaining it was an on line order.

I've been so curious about this place and I'm so glad I came with my family. I've never had a waffle on a stick before but I immediately eyed their egg and brioche sandwiches. I tried the Yolk Bacon. It was so good with a great runny yolk. I even licked the remaining yolk from the wrapper! Delicious! My wife and kids tried the Original waffle and the Coco Berry. They were a hit. My 3 year old asked for more. Great place! We will have to come back.

Everytime I pass by here there no one there at all to help you. Like… you sure you open? Lol I’ll be waiting at the counter and no one comes.
