Romano's Macaroni Grill El Paso

The food was excellent, and Grace, our server, was incredibly attentive.

However, my drink never arrived, even after we asked our waiter to check on it. Frustrated, I went to the bar myself and found out that our waiter hadn’t put in the order at all. After waiting an hour with no appetizer served, we asked to see the manager—a red-haired woman who appeared to be the only one in charge. Unfortunately, she never came to our table after 10 minutes. It was incredibly unprofessional; she seemed more focused on the front of the restaurant than on the actual diners. In the end, all we received during our hour-long wait was a single glass of water and two pieces of bread. It was a terrible experience, and I noticed two other couples left for the same reasons we did. On a positive note, the busboys were working hard to turn tables, and a young man named Khalid was hustling to provide good service. I just wish the manager put in half the effort that her staff did.

Although they were understaffed during the holidays, the staff made every effort to accommodate our large family table. The food was excellent.

Always delicious, they even sang happy birthday opera style!

The food used to be way better. Olive garden is way better and a better value than macaroni grill.
