Hook Reel Cajun Seafood - El Paso

For someone that does not do seafood often this was a great experience. Our server Cassandra was amazing very understanding and knowledgeable about the menu. I would recommend the boils especially because of the flavor. best recommendation to do is just don't wear white because the juice is red with it's yummy spices so you want to save yourself the staining. it's messy, yummy, and extremely fun to eat here. The baskets are just as awesome though. great flavor and multiple options to choose from plus they even have salads if you're on the light eater side. Happy hour available everyday of course at specific hours but definitely worth it. We enjoyed all of the spice levels: mild, spicy and fire. Just know the fire is a bit of a slow fire though after a bit it burns up we enjoyed the flavor of the hook and reel blend though I'm sure all would also be on our top enjoyments.

Came with my husband to celebrate Valentines Day. We were immediately sat. To our surprise they have a Valentine?s Day special going on so we decided to get it. Everything was delicious. Our service was also good. The special included an appetizer sampler, two margaritas, shrimp and crab boil, and a piece of cheesecake. Restrooms could be cleaner though.

If I could rate this place a 20/10 I would! Atmosphere was calm quiet! Food was AMAZING. Server was attentive very polite! The restaurant itself is modern nice. Food also came out within 15 minutes. Definitely not a FL or GA boil but I?m very impressed for it being a Texas boil! Prices are also definitely affordable.

Service was good and quick, even on Mother's day. I ordered the catfish and fries basket, it was ok, not outstanding. The lobster bisque was excellent. My friend ordered the shrimp and sausage platter, it comes in a steamy platter. I tasted it, not impressed. I'm not exactly a seafood expert, living in the desert, but maybe seafood experts might like this.

Walking in they had a wait. It didn't take long. The server was busy AF but she did a great job. Everything was great, no lie. Until I noticed my lobster bisque had fake lobster in it. It had imitation crab meat. When I confronted the owner all he had to say was it came from Maine. Sure buddy. Be a man and say it's fake crab ur selling to your guest. I definitely would recommend this place but don't order the fake lobster ???? bisque that comes from Maine????!!!!! I also just saw a review that was 7 months ago with the same issue of having fake bisque and they are still selling fake lobster bisque!! Seriously disappointing!!!
