Church's Texas Chicken - El Paso

We were craving some fried chicken and decided to visit the location on Clark Alameda. The drive-thru line was quite long, so my husband chose to go inside to place a takeout order. Since the weather was mild, I stayed in the car with the kids. He was back in just 10 minutes! That’s the quickest takeout we’ve ever experienced. The chicken was still nice and hot when we got home, and the fries and jalapeño poppers were also fresh and warm (though I still think Church's should offer a 'family size' for their sides). This is our favorite location, and they never let us down!

Great service and a clean environment, plus the food was delightful! I especially enjoyed the spicy crispy chicken pieces. The mashed potatoes with gravy and the honey butter biscuit were also fantastic. Overall, it was a delicious meal that didn’t break the bank, especially with the lemonade.

This is the worst Church's I have ever been to! They can never get our order right. Jazmin, who took our order, was rude when we tried to correct her. Juan, the one handling payments, did apologize, but that wasn’t enough. There were no biscuits available, and it would take over an hour to make them. We waited 15 minutes for our white meat, and when we finally received our order, it was still incorrect. They gave us the wrong chicken tenders and only a two-piece white meat instead of three. We had to return the food and then wait another 10 minutes. There was no supervisor on site, and now I have to wait until tomorrow to call for Angelica.

The staff at this restaurant truly goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience, and it’s reflected in the quality of the food. The chicken is consistently fresh, hot, and delicious! Even more noteworthy is the service, which is always friendly, courteous, and efficient. The only time I experienced a bit of a wait was when they had only one or two people working in the back due to what I assume was a personal matter. I really wish I could give this place more stars!
