Breakwater Barbecue - El Granada

Super freaking delicious brisket sandwich. Also had cornbread and potato salad and a local craft beer. All fantastic.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The customer service was excellent, and the building itself is stunning. The view of the ocean is breathtaking. The brisket was fantastic—soft, moist, and full of flavor. The brisket tacos were delicious too. I will definitely be returning, and I absolutely loved the mac and cheese!

This restaurant is a true gem. The brisket is the best I've had in quite some time, and the side dishes are thoughtfully crafted. The atmosphere is pleasant as well.

For the area it is good BBQ with a great atmosphere. Pretty small inside with 5 tables and a small bar. They also have a few tables outside. Slaw (an apple slaw with great flavor) and Mac-N-Cheese (has jalapeños in it) were good. Brisket was good but alittle dry. From the amount of a smoke ring it had, I think it was at to high of a temp or just smoke a little to long but I amsuper picky over my BBQ. Ribs were good and had a great flavor. Bread was nice and thick loke Texas toast but seems like it wasleft out awhile. The 2 sauces were good. Red was more of a Chipotle and the green was almost like a spicy chimichurri (not thatspicy though). I would eat there again.

I stopped by for dinner and was really impressed with this place. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Although they don’t offer a full menu during the week due to staff shortages, what they did have was absolutely delicious!
