Overall, I like the food at Pete's. We've frequented other locations and this was our first visit to the EDH location. The pizza and food were on par with other locations. For whatever reason, I really love their ranch. Their pizza is always good. I do find the food to be a bit on the pricey side but overall, it's an easy place to go as a family. Unfortunately, the restaurant when we visited was severely understaffed. I felt bad for the overwhelmed servers but we had to ask several times for refills, ketchup, etc. I wouldn't mind returning but do hope we get better service next time.

The pizza is good. Minestrone is garbage. Tastes like canned tomato sauce with cayenne. Gross. Very skimpy portion and hardly anything in it. The Caesar dressing tastes like commercial **** not in house made. It's disappointing. I used to eat at Pete's often on J St and in Elk Grove. They had wonderful minestrone and dressings. Save your money and get better food and service just about anywhere else. Other than the pizza it's nothing like it used to be.

I ordered a Pete's salad, (which was just plain iceburg lettuce with croutons), a Flatbread pizza (paper thin but ok taste), half rack of ribs (cooked and seasoned ok, but wildly squirted with sauce), and amazing Pete's knots for dessert (but took 20 mins to have them served). They were definitely busy so that did affect the servers response time. Lastly, this place isn't as clean as it could be, including in the restrooms.

Service was horrendous. I understand it was a busy night with the holiday. My daughter asked what type of oil they cook with because she 's allergic to peanut oil. The waitress was over the top rude as if she was asked what her social security nunber was. My daughter asked for no tomato of course there was a tomato. She asked if the sandwich could be cut in half (while ordering not sent back to be cut in half) the waitress said no it can 't but I can bring you a knife The waitress never brought a knife. The drinks didn 't even have ice in them! Overall a horrible experience. Don 't waste your time or money.. I typically never go out of my way to leave a negative review, but this waitress made it a point to go out of her way to be rude to us.
