Goodcents - El Dorado

The food is absolutely incredible and so affordable! I discovered this gem while a bit tipsy one morning around 5:30 in Long Branch, and it truly saved my life! I was so impressed that I had to return later when I was sober—didn’t want my judgment to be clouded when it comes to food! Even when I was completely clear-headed, the food was still fantastic. Plus, I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was! Honestly, I’m amazed that places like Subway are still in business. If you're looking for a delicious sub or soup without breaking the bank, your taste buds will definitely thank you!

I arrived just five minutes later and approached her, saying, "Hi, are you Demetria?" She confirmed and handed me my sandwich, saying, "You will like it, guaranteed!" I asked if it was made the way I requested, and she replied, "Uh-huh." When I opened it, I noticed it was dripping with mayo, and she laughed, saying it was safe for me. After paying, I tipped her $5 because she was such a pleasure to work with. I returned to my hotel, and the sandwich was exactly as I had ordered—perfectly dripping with all the mayo I love! It was significantly better than my recent experiences at Subways. This was my first visit to this place, and the next time I'm back in town, I know I'll be coming here for a fresh deli sandwich. I specifically want to request Demetria again! Thank you, Demetria—you definitely deserve a raise!

I 'm originally from the Midwest and we have some great sub sandwiches there but this did not disappoint. It tasted so FRESH and well put together. They greeted me when I walked in and made sure I had just the right amount on my Goodcents original... a sandwich with a lot of meat!! I knew I was going to have give this place a second try... first impression, clean, friendly and the bread was nothing less than amazing. Second visit, I went for the pasta. I was thinking how could a sub shop make good pasta but I was impressed. Generous portion, garlic bread and add extra toppings if you like, with a extra charge but it was sooooo worth it. Greeted me and came to my table to clear or see if I wanted anything else. No fastfood has ever been so customer friendly. It was definitely a hit for me. Two for two...... great place, family friendly!

My last experience at this restaurant was unfortunate. Four days ago, I ordered the Ultimate Club Sandwich and ended up with a stomach bug. The first thing I felt after waking up the next morning was nausea, likely due to cross-contamination. I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.

Good subs. Having fresh meats sliced for every sandwich is always a plus. Lots of specialty subs to choose from, although we played it safe with a turkey and turkey/roast beef. Friendly staff. Would stop back again if we?re in the area!
