Applebee's - El Dorado

Bartender was on the spot and very friendly. I would have spent more money there than I wanted, but so glad I loved the place absolutely.

Our food tasted good. Our kids food was missing their sides and then the yogurt they ordered wasn't vanilla as described, it was plain.. BUT.. our server was great, he had a great attitude and personality and they promptly fixed the issue with our kids food and offered substitutions. So they still get 5 stars!

One Waiter and a bunches of folks all wanted the Best service. And it really was on time and delicious. Need good place to dine Applebee's is the place to bee. Hive fun. Peace

Sat at the bar, took a minute to get noticed. Ordered a dirty martini; the bartender asked if I wanted a single or a double. I said I would take whatever filled the martini glass! Have never been asked that question on a martini! I ordered the Cajun blackened salmon, and it was tasty! This was the best part of my experience. I had to ask for water twice, and then the bartender set it down without saying a word, so that I missed it initially. The other bartender also brought a duplicate order of my order. I offered to take it to go. Not sure what happened to it! Overall, about half the employees I observed were more interested in talking with each other and/or decorating for Christmas. And the decor is in need of updating. I wanted to like it more.

I ordered a mushroom Swiss cheeseburger, ask for it medium rare.. I received a Swiss onion crunchy burger. It really only had two slices of mushroom and a pile of onions on a crunchy well done burger. Everyone else food was ok just ok...
