Contribuiți la feedbackYummy food, including the tapas, and very good service, too. It's popular but usually not too long of a wait.
I'm going to be brutally honest and expose myself here I have NEVER had Thai food before coming here. I always thought that I hated curry because I wasn't very fond of the smell, but boy was I wrong. A friend of mine had recently convinced me to come here with her and I am very glad that I did. She is a huge fan of Thai food and this is her favorite place so I knew I could trust it. After studying the menu extremely carefully, we split the Basil Rice Dish and Yellow Curry and I got a Thai iced tea to drink. It was AMAZING. The egg on top was cooked perfectly and the curry was delicious and not too spicy. I will say, beware of the spice level because they can really throw in the heat if you want it. Thankfully, the servers are very patient in explaining the menu and they didn't make me feel bad for being a baby that can't handle spice (even though my friend did). We got to sit and talk for long time and the servers checked up on us quite often and replenished our water when we needed. The place may look like a whole in the wall from the outside but inside is very comfortable and relaxing. Larb Thai is an absolutely wonderful restaurant with exceptional food and I am dying to go back.
My friend wanted to go to a restaurant that was featured on Check, please! Bay Area. I found an old broadcast featuring Larb. The people said the food was great, but very spicy hot. My friends ordered no spicy. I had the Crispy Rice Ball larb with mild spicy. Fabulous! Next time I will try medium. We had a wonderful meal together.
This restaurant is amazing. cheap eating but of high quality. service is fast, almost no need to wait for eating. authenticity Thai food too great. I couldn't complain.
Love the family that runs this place, and while I enjoy everything here I really do have to single out the duck larb as my fav
