Hamburger Stand - El Centro

I used to eat hamburgers from this place as a kid when they only cost 25-35 cents each. This restaurant is a piece of California history. I am so happy to see that it is still here for us to enjoy.

Be cautious. When I visited the restaurant, I observed a young man mopping the floors and then proceeding to make the food without changing his gloves. This is unsanitary.

The food was average. I was really unhappy that they don't offer refills and there are no signs indicating that. They only give you a refill when you ask for it. The biggest problem was that I saw a Wienerschnitzel sign, but they operate more like a fast food hamburger stand. No refills were offered. I ended up spending $50 with my family. I won't be returning unless they change their policy. It's too hot in this city, 110 degrees or so!

This restaurant serves the best food in town, especially their delicious milkshakes and chili burgers.
