Burros Fries Lemon Grove - El Cajon

The WORST BIRRIA tacos I have ever ordered. Didn?t even eat them I lost my appetite when I saw them, plus they were expensive and didn?t even have meat or that birria juice that gives them the flavor not even onions or cilantro. Who ever is cooking needs to get reprimanded. I used to be an avid client I guess they lost one more?? in the begging they were so good when they first opened their cooking has gotten real LAZY!!!!! ????????

Our G-daughter wanted to come here for our after school hanging out together. She already knew what she wanted as she'd been before with her dad. Tacos! She ordered a carne asada taco, a birria and (I think) a fried fish taco. I guess her favorites. I was in a strange mood and ordered a flour shell grilled chicken bowl. Wanted something crunchy. Overall it was a pretty good bowl. Came with more ingredients than I expected. Maybe more than are needed. There was the chicken,beans, rice, cheese, lettuce, guac, tomatoes, corn, onions, sour cream... very generous for a big appetite. If I was to order it again, I would ask for black beans instead of refried so it wouldn't get mushy. We toasted with our refreshingmandarin Jarritos sodas and enjoyed our eats in a very quiet place. We were the only ones there. Finally not long before we left, a family arrived to order and dine inside. Maybe we came during the lull before dinner. Oh well, I'm surewe'll be back since our Gdaughter loves the tacos. The parking is good and the place is well kept and clean. Sorry, I forgot to take a pic of the menu. Next time!

I really don 't want to discourage a startup business. Possibly some improvements could be made. Our drinks were watery. My burro was watery and cold as though it just came out from the refrigerator (witness the photo). Although there were few other customers, the wait was 30 minutes. The veggie burro Had refried beans instead of whole beans as advertised. There was bacon lard in the beans even though I asked specifically for whole beans with no lard, cheese or sourcream.

Went in for breakfast at around 9am on a Monday Ordered the Chipotle Chilaquiles with a scrambled egg This was definitely a good choice . The only reason it wasn't a 5 star was that the beans and rice were a bit cold. But as good as the chilaquiles were it mad up for it. Will definitely come back and eat here maybe try lunch next time around.

Burrito was great. Service was good. The problem i have with this type of place is everything is so large. I split the burrito with my wife, cuz it was too much and the fries look really good but again too large so I didn't order. A burrito and a specialty fries is over 20 bucks! Way too much for a single person for lunch or dinner. Maybe i missed something?
