Almacén De Panes - El Bolsón

This place has great delicious baked goods and wonderful sourdough bread for really great prices. You won’t find anyone making real pastries or bread like this anywhere else in Chile or Argentina. Read below for my rant/love letter to this place: I can’t begin to explain what finding this place meant for my friend and I after four months of traveling in Chile and Argentina with no luck in finding true bread and baked goods. What they make compares with some of the best bakeries I’ve ever been too. The croissants are amazing!! Cookies are creative and well executed! And the sourdough bread is sooooo good! It won’t go stale in a day, has a great thick crust. This place doesn’t stick out because it’s a bit hidden...but if you’ve been looking for truly great baked goods or bread at a great price, look no further!!

What an amazing find. The breads are delicious. You can tell that there is a real passion for baking in the kitchen. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Patagonia. If you are anywhere close to the area you should definitely stop by and buy anything; it’s all fantastic!
