Restaurant Schifflände - Einsiedeln

I visited herds abbey. on the way back to the railway station, I stopped at the restaurant naval (I found on ta). I was kindly received and given a table. poulet in chörbli looked like the court to order. So I did it and...not regret it! it was just delicious! a beautiful address near the train station.

Restaurant navallande is a very beautiful place for a good meal before or after a visit of chandelier. a photo of the idyllic area of the monastery is attached. we have eaten here with a big party on juni Monday. we were just lined and bought through the city and its extensive local street market. the shops and the market offered many interesting and practical articles from a lot of sellers. the service in the restaurant was fast and friendly. we sat comfortably outside under umbrellas. the menu offers various Swiss dishes. under the orders we ordered, were a cheesecake savory; bouillon soup and focaccia; baked perch and salat; and green salat with locally baked brot and pumpkin seeds (photos attached). all the meals were very good, and the portions were reasonable. the cheese pie, soup and local baked bread were the biggest hits of our party that originally came from Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Germany and the united states. if a restaurant can make so many different guests happy at the same time, they definitely do something right. bottom line, if you are looking for a good meal, served by friendly and efficient staff in settle, this restaurant is worth a try. if you have found this review helpful and/or our photos helpful or appealing, we hope you click on the button “Help/Thank you”. those of us who write detailed reviews, appreciate the feedback and it encourages us to write additional reviews for all. Found this restaurant on trip advisor as it was one of the only places open on good Friday. Had the chicken in a basket and it was great, not entirely sure what the sauce is but it was excellent! Service was friendly and helpful they couldn't explain what the sauce was but let me try it 1st before ordering.

We happened by on our way to hill for a little sledding and a visit to monastery. Very friendly and nice food. A very convenient location and open to having 2 small children in tow

The Restaurant Schifflände, has a speciality: Chicken in the basket. This restaurant is mostly known for this speciality and it is totally worth it to drive all the way from Zurich to try this chicken. The service is also very friendly and motivated which is a rare thing in Switzerland and makes one always very happy. Great place!
