The Scallop Shack - Eilean Siar

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant! The scallops were delicious and fresh, and the honesty box adds a charming touch. They have two fridges: one for pre-orders and another filled with a variety of scallops and oysters. I suggest taking a scenic drive to Kneep Beach, which is absolutely beautiful.

I cannot praise the scallops at this restaurant enough. My family has connections on the island and we always make it a point to visit this place to get our hands on their delicious scallops. They are incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. In addition to scallops, they also offer locally sourced oysters that I can't get enough of. The restaurant is situated in a charming little harbor with parking available for customers to pick up their freshly caught seafood. There is even a vendor in the harbor who can provide fresh crabs and lobsters.

Here are the places we like! !Pow shape and so much substance!! !It is not a five-star restaurant, better!!!! If you landed on Lewis Island and enjoy the fish and seafood, mark Uig the Scalops Shack. And don't let me escape for any reason in the world. Huge cappsant just caught, clean in front of your eyes and cook at the moment. A must of unsurpassed freshness and taste. It is open in summer only for lunch, from 12 to 15, and you eat in front of the marina under a tent. It is one of the many tasty memories of our last wonderful holiday.

When I arrived at the restaurant, it appeared to be closed. However, their definition of closed is not conventional – the door was open, fresh oysters were in the fridge, and all the tools needed to shuck and enjoy them were available. They had an honesty box for payment, along with Tabasco and lemon for the oysters, and a fridge stocked with scallops for purchase. The integrity and trust of this establishment is truly remarkable, the oysters were fantastic, and the setting was simply divine. Thank you for renewing my trust in restaurants!

This place is exactly what the name suggests, a shack selling scallops, and a few other bits.The are so fresh and amazing.We had a couple of rolls with butter, each with 3 large hand dived scallops, and mugs of coffee. Wasnt sure how that would go, but they were just fantastic, and on a windy wet day sitting under their awning looking out over the water where they had come from, will be something we will remember well.Good luck to you and every success hopefully.
