Harris - Eilean Siar

We were staying at the hotel as a group and had the opportunity to dine here for both dinner and breakfast. Both meals were good, but the dinner was particularly impressive. The kitchen has a rustic twist to it, and I found all the dishes I tried - including meat, fish, and vegetarian options - to be very tasty during my four-night stay. Despite the traditional decor, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are attentive and friendly.

Even though we were not staying at the hotel, we decided to have breakfast there. We had been disappointed by buffet breakfasts in the past, but the table service and menu options here were excellent. The freshly brewed filter coffee and the fish dish were particularly good. The waitresses were attentive and quick to offer refills. They also warned us not to order too much, which turned out to be good advice as the portion sizes were filling. We left satisfied and fueled for the rest of the day until dinner. We will definitely return when we are back on the island.
