Georgi - Schlössl - Ehrenhausen

Our short trip to the South Styria led us to ehrenhausen. the kirchenwirt directly at the marketplace turned out to be a perfect exit point for a buschenschank tour. the check-in worked smoothly and even earlier than on the homepage, the rooms (4 apartments with kitchen and a double room in the 50m away dependance) are extremely spacious and tastefully decorated. the baths are bright and comfortable and still look very new. Cleanliness TOP!After the departure into the weinberge we actually wanted to walk to a bushy flurry. but at the sight of the menu we stayed right for eating in the churchkeeper. super decision! especially the burgers are highly recommended. the staff was very courteous and we got everything served quickly. after that we left the evening at the wine bare. great praise to the bartender who has mixed super cocktails (steirischer gin tonic.) there was also no curfew, and the housekeeper left us as long as we wanted.The breakfast the next day was plentiful and very good and was served us by the very friendly resi.On this place we would like to thank once again our courteous host, from which we even found after the breakfast a a successful outing and we will surely return to the church host.

We were here for lunch on the day, and have ordered classic food. Unfortunately, the soup was already out. the cordon bleu and the children's carving were of good quality, only the backhendl was unfortunately fried instead of baked, and also differently divided as usual, the panier unfortunately fell off. the salads were ok, but would have worn a bit more spice. the whole was nicely dressed, the staff very friendly, drinks were served quickly - the mineral water in the bottle even with cooler.

On our annual south-eastern Styria we have discovered this gas house in the center of the beautiful ortes ehrenhausen. the visually appealing seating garden invited us to stay immediately and we got the last free table.The service staff was very friendly and competent and also took time for recommendations both when eating and when eating. we had an appetizer, suppe - both very appealing in the optics as well as in taste - we had a very fine sauvignon blanc from the weingut big (recommendation of the homelord). the choice of wine is very good and more costly than in order. the main foods as well as the salads were able to overrun the appetizer again (boiled to the point and you realize that is cooked only with fresh ingredients) so that we have torn to a chocolate souffle and a nougat cup - both top! after countless other excellent weeps we visited the in-house hotel/hosthouse with an unexpectedly great one for such a small place!

To the rooms we can not say anything because we were accommodated on the associated lock.The service in the restaurant came promptly, but also not too often again, soaking was more difficult to reorder. eating was tasty, but no culinary highlight.

The kirchenwirt lies directly - as the name already says, in the middle of the place ehrenhausen. we were fed on the terrace and were very friendly. the food selection was well civic with some Styrian tasty bites. tastefully there was absolutely nothing to put out and we can recommend the church economist!
