Contribuiți la feedbackWe went late on Friday night the service was not great, waiters did not explain what is on the menu, they did not even cut the pizza when they handed us a pizza roll. The pizza itself tasted good!
Disappointing experience. We have dinner with expectations, given the other reviews. The place is nice, and the staff friendly, but the food was moderate for its price. At the beginning, half of the dishes were not available on the menu, making a minimum selection. The baccala alla Napoletana had almost nothing to share with the original recipe, with cherry tomato on the side instead of the slowly baked tomato sauce. Lamb was well cooked, but only three slices of meat, while the part of the gnocchi was huge, but the reindeer was too dry. But the cherry on the top asked for a basket of bread and served and charged 990 ISK for five half slices of cold roasted white bread, neither sourdough.
Wait a minute. Looking for a table for 5. Waited 20 minutes and had to ask several times if a place was ready for us, although the restaurant was not more than 1/4 fully visible. Order simple dishes and wait an hour. Saw my pizza under hot lamps for over 25 minutes before all dishes were ready to be served. Fortunately, the food was good, but not what we wanted after a 4 hour drive. Very strange and uninterested service. Also had to go to the bar to pay.
Pricey but dang, the food and service was exceptional. Nice ambience. Great and friendly staff and did I mention the food? Woodfire Pizza, unique infusion dishes... cook kisses.
We had a pretty good dinner here. The dish of pasta with meat in the photo was excellent, I forgot its name.
