India Gate - Eggenfelden

Tried this place as an alternative to the local cuisine, as I fancied something a bit more spicy. Food was OK; the onion bargee was not so crunchy but the lamb balti was flavoursome and the portions were good size. Staff friendly and efficient.

Eat is delicious. ambiente doesn't speak to me personally, but that's a taste. the food takes some of the above average long before it is finished. therefore 4 stars

Eating (lenses dhal, naan and vegetarian thali) was quite boring. I missed the typical Indian flavor. chai hasn't tasted like that either. service was very friendly! ambiente is okay.

The restaurant is in the second floor, the entrance over the stairs adventurous: with grilled steel plates disguised steps make a biterl angst: is it going into a factory? would safety shoes be attached? above awaits the hospitable scent of smoked sticks and very friendly, polite, perfectly German speaking Indian. very precisely, there are two inside and one sikh. we order a vegetable thali for two people: the one is taking care of it, it could be too sharp (the South Asians are known for this). my first drink I drink in five minutes, the sweet, milky taste lies to me. it comes the basmatireis, then the big teller and the plate with the peels, in each another dish. to it papadam and naan brot. it tastes all very good, not sharp, but excellently seasoned. simply perfect Indian. the service is fast and present when needed. five stars very clear we come back
