Galileo's Italian Food At Liberty Square

It was a very fancy restaurant and we weren't really expecting that. We got shoved between a doorway even though the place was practically empty. The food was alright, I expected better for the price. Our server, however, was very delightful and helpful with what was nearby

Quality is good. Liked it that the menu has offerings of choices not on most menus. Service was fine. Pleased with the taste of the food. Wine list was above average. Will return

My wife and I did not have a good experience on our visit to Galileo's. We waited at least 30 minutes for our food. I finally asked the hostess where our food was. Moments later our food was brought to our table. When we were seated we were told we had to wait 15 minutes to place our order. I guess that should have been our clue to go elsewhere. I'm not sure we will be back. The food was good. We ordered the Two for $55 meals.

Awesome veal osso bucco. Add a nice chianti and I was in heaven. Has the potential to be an EXCELLENT restaurant. Needs some vision, excitement, and a lttle pizzazz.

Excellent decor and surroundings. Unfortunately Galileo’s cooking disappointed our party of four. Having ordered three fish dishes and one pasta dish, we agreed on a rating of 5 in a 1 to 10 scale. Presentation was fine. Regretfully, food lacked flavor and we experienced mediocre service. Galileo could use a more enthusiastic chef. Door County has many restaurants and Galileo needs to try harder to earn our business.
