Depresso Kitchen Étterem - Eger

Beautiful atmosphere, well prepared brunch. We had satisfied the Bungalowskenyér and the scrambled eggs with both. Coffee is also good.

I really enjoyed eating here with my family. The place is dog friendly and well suited for a night outside. The service and the staff, when brilliant, while we were there, began to rain and they immediately gave us an interior table, they even the new table just as it was outside. Excellent. Thank you for the brilliant service. Well done!

Great. It’s a beautiful spot right in the centre of town — with a view to the castle and the dome of Eger. Serves excellent food for breakfast and brunch, also the teas and juices were great. It’s owned by Dr Csernus — a well-know author of books in psychology, and lover of great spirits. They have an excellent selection of high quality rums ans whiskeys, also available in their hometown of Noszvaj next by.

We really enjoyed our time in Despresso. We were there 3 times within 2 days The owner of this place the famous Dr. Imre Csernus, the very honest psychologist. IT IS NOT ONLY A CAFÉ, but FINE DINING as well you can eat tasty breakfast there in the morning until 11:30 and then they serve delicious lunch. They change the menu in every 3 months. very good location at Dobo square the atmosphere is really good, i love the interior design, the lamps, the floor, the pictures and also the toilet i love when places have tables in the window and these windows are floor-to-ceiling. My favorite the waiters are very kind and helpful you can pay by card and with cash sometimes the place is very busy so it is better to book a table. during good weather you can sit also outside prices are bit high for Eger, this level is more usual in Budapest they write on the menu under each food what kind of wine they offer for that. It is written in blue, it is very creative i love this. We tried breakfast (american pancakes, bagel) coffee, lunch and soft drinks. All of them were very good. Great atmosphere, quality coffee and bakery. This place has one of the best view of the castle in town. Nice place for jus a coffee or a meeting as well.
