Numchok Wilai - Edmonton

The flavours were authentic.The presentation was great.The variety was good.The quantities were small.The place is quite popular. Gotta find free street parking around the block.There are a few tables but suitable for dressing up. Being popular a bit on the loud side. Good for socializing with friends or colleagues.Decent price considering all in all.

Came here to celebrate my dads birthday for lunch. Cute little spot on 124 street. Lunch specials are all $13 and come with soup and spring rolls and rice. I had the hot Thai Chili basil dish, my wife had the red curry and my dad had the peanut satay sauce. All very good and worked well to share with each other. All very fresh. Will be back to try the dinner menu! Staff were very friendly.

Great lunch with quick service, good prices and excellent food. Upon ordering lunch from their lunch menu, we were served 2 spring rolls with dipping sauce and small soup, no extra charge. Food served hot and spice level offered from mild to spicy!

Today I picked up lunch for four at Numchok Wilai, having ordered it the day before. And they graciously allowed me to order from their main menu, rather than the lunch menu. I ordered eight dishes from across the menu, and everything was hot, rich in flavour, perfectly prepared and ready. And a very reasonable price! The red curry chicken, in particular, was a fave...so good! And the flavours were in perfect balance. I highly recommend it for both lunch and dinner, for the authentic flavours, great price, incredible variety, and the gracious service. An Edmonton gem on 124 Street!

When i think of Pad Thai i think of this restaurant. It is really the best for the value in Edmonton. And the Panang dish is so delicious.
