Have Mercy Southern Table & Bar

Have Mercy has quickly become one of my favourite businesses in Old Strathcona.

I just returned from a long tenure in BC for four weeks and I was excited to go for a bite to eat with my wife to celebrate my return.

Sat on the patio and enjoyed a delicious drink and order a American burger. It was undercooked, red. I ate 1/4 of it. Advised the waiter and said he would take care of it. When i got the bill and they took off only 4.00 so I paid 12.00 for a small ceasar salad. Not impressed.

The ribs were fall off the bone, incredibly flavorful. The Caesar salad was very good, and the chicken, especially with the honey chili sauce: amazing! Our server Kate went above and beyond to accommodate a special request. Thanks Kate!!!

Southern food and an extensive whisky list. I am not sure how authentic it is, having never eaten in the south to any great extent, but the room is cool, the food is tasty, and they feature local beer in addition to american standards.
