Ban Thai Restaurant - Edmonton

Went there for lunch today. What a mistake. Had the too sweet, one note Pad Thai. Just terrible. Won't go there again!

Food was excellent! We had the mango salad, fresh spring rolls, cashew chicken and stir fried eggplant. Everything was super tasty and perfect portions for the 4 of us. Service is a bit slow, but this gave us time to visit. The new owners are lovely people and we really hope they do well. Their food is very good.

Was looking for a west Edmonton Thai restaurant for a group of 14. Found them on-line and called in the afternoon and there was no problem for them to accommodate our large group. When we arrived the presentation was amazing. We came in from the cold to a warm, colourful and authentic Thai eatery. The food was plentiful, served hot, spicy, fresh and it was an absolutely terrific meal. Great service with constant attending by our servers. This is definitely a gem!

We had the fresh spring roll (shrimp,) deep fried chicken in garlic soya sauce, sweet and sour tofu, and the shrimp fried rice. The food was amazing and the service was great. It's a nice quaint restaurant that is nicely decorated. We've been there twice in 2017 and will go back again.

Excellant Thai atmosphere, exquisitely decorated, and hosted by Thai familly .Very clean, very polite, service with broken english.Very fast service if you want it to be, or tell them you are not in a hurry.The food is excellent as demontrated by a light but steady flow of people picking up their suppers in take outs. It might seat 25 people. On a Friday night there were only two tables. It is a hidden secret.
