Jolloff Etcetera - Edmonston

This was my first time at this restaurant. I had a pregnancy craving and was not disappointed! The restaurant was clean and it was such a beautiful atmosphere. Food was delicious and service was quick and pleasant. I will be returning.

I went with my uncles and everything we had was lovely. The Jollof rice was the best I have had in awhile. It had the “firewood flavor” to it (IYKYK). The goat meat was succulent. My uncle had the fisherman soup which he seemed to enjoy. I ordered Ayamase as take out and I appreciate the balance of flavor and pepper. It was yummy. Also, it had a decent amount of assorted meat and it was not oily.Good food portions, neat and calm atmosphere (although, it wasn’t busy when I was there. I don’t know the atmosphere otherwise).The service was quick. Chinonye and Hosanna were professional, friendly, and attentive. They gave recommendations when asked and ensured customers satisfaction.

Good was horrible. I ordered Amala with Gbegiri and ewedu. The gbegiri was so thick it was disgusting to eat. It appeared that it was frozen. It over powered the stew and ewedu. OMG the Amala it self was cold as if it wasn’t freshly made. No to mentioned I asked for a side of assorted mix meat (Asun) and they gave me one piece of goat meat for $7.00.This the Hanover locations. I hear the one in DC is better but I wouldn’t be visiting this chain again. Horrible experience.

If I could give it 0 stars I would they served me old food it was nasty and overpriced I will not be back what a waste of money !

I called Hyattsville branch to order 5 meat pies, I was told they have it and that I should come in to get it. I left my home Howard county, drove 32 minutes only for me to get there and the lady said they don’t have meat pie but I could get chicken pie since I am already there.No any form of apology.Had to drive another 38 minutes back home empty handed.I wouldn’t trust this business in the future and will speed my experience with as many people as possible.
