However, there is consistency at each location among dishes and service. My go-to is the The Heap and Hotline Bling. We both gota wild hair and tried something new, The Good Ole Boy and Big Bad Burrito. Both excellent. Tip: monitor Yelp/Open Tablethroughout your morning and establish your reservation ASAP. Usually, walk-ins are possible before 8:30am.
Stopped here while traveling from WI. Just happened to drive by and stopped. Service was good. Food was excellent. The biscuits are very large and fresh. Apple butter awesome, the apple pepper jam that's on the tables, is really good. Hubby had thebreakfast Cuban, he liked it. I had the special of the day Monte Cristo deep fried. Wasn't great, too much breading, but I'msure others would like it. Can't say anything negative about our experience. Had a really good chai latte as well. We would comeback.
This is my favorite location to eat at. Now the wait time to eat is longer but you would need to reserve on the waitlist before arriving. My favorite dish is the shrimp and grits. You can never go wrong with them. Next it?s the potatoes and the varietypancakes. Hands down my favorite breakfast place!
Thank goodness my friend made got our group (4 people) on a waitlist 2 hours before our meet up because it would?ve taken a good moment to get us seated. But that is to be expected at a popular brunch place at 10:00a.m. Our server, Loren, was nice and verypatient with us. There was a moment where one of us had to switch out a drink order because it wasn?t what they wanted and theydid so without making us feel terrible about it. I appreciated her positive attitude! Kudos to you! My food was pretty darngood, I got myself the Westside Benny which was the smoked salmon Benedict (at least that what it seemed like) with a side ofpotatoes rather than hash browns. While I loved the Benny, I wasn?t the biggest fan of the potatoes, mainly because it was a bitsalty for my taste. Love the biscuits though! Moist and flaky! With my favorite sauce being the apple butter! YUM! Oh! For mydrink I decided to get the Mango Jasmine tea and to my surprise it was unsweetened, so fair warning to folks if you think it?s asweet drink. Lol! Overall, I?d come back if I ever want brunch again.
Make a reservation ahead of time!! Neighborhood Jam is super popular so I would suggest making reservations or checking in online ahead of time to avoid the wait. Our experience was great! We ordered drinks and everyone seemed to love them. Themimosas are huge and they offer different flavors. I ordered the Hot Jam Biscuit and it was really good. I?m not going to liethough I was a little disappointed with the quality of the bacon. The chicken was delicious! I also asked for gravy on the sideand it was a really good addition to eat with the biscuit and hashbrowns! The waiter was really nice and attentive. Therestaurant has a really good vibe to it with pops of yellow and really comfortable booths.
