Since this restaurant took over the location of Papparich, the area has transformed, and the menu has been enhanced with some high-end offerings. The atmosphere now feels more upscale. The Shanghai dishes are served in smaller portions, which allows you to sample a variety of dishes in one sitting. If you're dining with a companion, you'll want to order about 3 to 4 dishes to share.

The food here is outstanding! The soup dumplings are the best I've had in central New Jersey! You absolutely have to try the pork chop! I was so busy enjoying the meal that I didn't even have time to take any pictures!

I visited for the first time tonight, and everything was fantastic! The fried juicy buns were probably the best I've ever tasted.

We stumbled upon this new restaurant and, despite initial hesitation, decided to give it a try. They had spaced out the tables between dining groups, and all the staff were wearing masks, which made us feel more comfortable. We were very pleased with the braised pork belly served with vegetables; the fat just melted in our mouths, and it wasn't greasy at all. The seasoning was just right, making it incredibly delicious. Another highlight was the black truffles with mushrooms over rice—it was a delightful surprise. The rich flavors of the mushrooms blended beautifully with the aroma of the truffles, making each bite a treat. On the other hand, the sautéed cabbage was a bit of a letdown. It was quite oily, perhaps due to the common practice of drizzling cooked oil over the vegetables before serving. Next time, I’ll definitely request less oil. The pan-fried pork buns weren't my favorite either. They use the same bun as their steamed pork juicy buns, which makes the shell too thin compared to traditional pan-fried buns. Additionally, the sweetness was a bit overwhelming for someone like me who isn't used to Shanghai-style flavors. Overall, the service and atmosphere were great, and we had a good experience.

This restaurant is fantastic! The prices are very reasonable and the food tastes delicious. The interior is lovely, and the staff is always friendly.
