Rainforest Cafe - Edison

Bianca, our server, was topnotch! She was friendly, attentive, and upbeat. Perfect qualities to be a part of Rainforest Cafe. The menu had a good variety of items. We started with the sampler, which had mozzarella sticks, spinach and artichoke dip, chicken fingers, and chimi-cha-cha's (egg rolls), which were delicious! For entrees, we had the Bombay chicken and shrimp in a spicy curry sauce. It was quite good, and the sauce had a kick which we liked. We also had the Jamaican Me Crazy pork chops. It was a big portion, and very tasty. The kids menu was a great value with many options. This meal came complete with a fruit option as a side, along with a drink and dessert — selected the ice cream sandwich. Just the right size. I'm a Landry member, which has been a good investment. Every year for my birthday, I get a $25 credit that's good for a month. The one time membership fee has paid for itself many times. Dan, the manager gave us a welcome greeting and checked in with us. He thanked us for coming when he gave us the check. We felt like VIP's! We're glad Rainforest Cafe is still at Menlo Park Mall in Edison. My family and I have many wonderful memories at this fun place, and judging from the crowds, it carries that same tradition for many. Kids of many ages love the sights and sounds. Feels like one is in the amazon. Kudos to Dan, Bianca, and the entire Landry organization!! Looking forward to visiting Rainforest Cafe and the other Landry properties. The place is old, air conditioning was not working and service was bad. It took them 25min after I called a manager to acknowledge we were even there. Food was salty and greasy. Definitely not worth the visit..this place is shutting down soon!

It was loud flashing lights it was a different experience server was nice food wasnt you can tell microwave was used to warm up food chips were stale way too much sauce on everything overwhelming and didn't get to eat it or enjoy a lot of it

Made reservation via OpenTable. Get to restaurant and they didn't have me on the list. Server said no problem I have a table for you. There was an obnoxious group across from us that raised a lot of eyebrows. This restaurant used to be a nice “experience“ moment. Place needs a facelift. Service was terrible. Waitress seemed overwhelmed, definitely not attentive. Won't be returning.

Awesome atmosphere, great service, food was also delicious. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon.
