My husband has bigger than normal hands. So you get an idea of how big their foods are! Matzo ball soup is our must order every time for how huge it is, we usually have more than half packed to go. They also refills soup for you. We tried their pancake for the first time. 4 of us didn’t even kill 1/4 of the pancake. It was very fluffy, not dry at all. They gave (a lot of) butter and maple syrup. My husband’s favorite is their double decker sandwich. He often chooses pastrami and roasted beef for meats. The amount of cheese they melt on the sandwich is ridiculous (in a good way). Their gave rye bread for the table. For the mountain of meat we got, we eventually packed most of the plate to go, and ate non stop for the next 2 days. With tax and tips, we paid $45 per person. By the way, the service is great they always keep an eye on you, and replace your plates without you asking them. Our waiter was so funny. He asked: so, what do we want for today, and for the rest of the week? We will go back for dinner sometime to try their BBQ beef ribs. Strongly recommend.
The pastrami, best ever. This rib appetizer? It’s for 5 people! And incredibly tender and juicy. Cannot wait to go back!!
Nobody does deli better than Harold's! The dining rooms are large, so there is plenty of room for distancing. The staff takes every measure to ensure customer safety. Friendly wait staff. My favorite is the pastrami. The sandwiches are gigantic. Piled high. Great variety of breads& pickles. Homemade coleslaw and healthy salad. We also had a knish which had creamy potatoes and hint of onions, made to perfection. The pieces of cake are the biggest I've ever seen. If you enjoy this type of food, you should definitely try Harold's. You will not be disappointed Handicap parking and entrance.
I wish we could have dined in. The menu looks amazing. We decided on the large pastrami sandwich. We later found out it comes with 10 slices of bread for a reason. Having said that, the pastrami tasted amazing. Although it is off the beaten path it is well worth the trip for takeout or outside seating.
