It was my first time trying haggis, and it was an unforgettable experience. The mashed potatoes were incredibly smooth and creamy, and I really enjoyed the buttery sauce that accompanied them. As for the fish and chips, the portion was very generous. The fish fillet was impressively large, and the chips were fantastic. However, what stood out the most were the green beans served with the fish and chips—I absolutely loved them! If I could have more, I definitely would.
I had the pleasure of trying the Scottish seafood chowder, haggis with neeps and tatties, and Stewart Amber Beer from Edinburgh. For dessert, I indulged in the unforgettable Scottish cranachan. The highlight of my experience, however, was the service. Although I was warned that dining here might be pricey, I found it to be the most affordable option compared to other renowned Scottish restaurants, and the food was absolutely delicious.
After visiting the historic pubs, they indulge in some fantastic Scottish cuisine here. I ordered the Scottish breakfast.
