Pizza Express - Edinburgh

Nice lunch with my friend, pizza and lasagne beautifully washed with a glass pinio grigio blush.

I visited Pizza Express for the first time, and I must say, both the food and service were excellent. We got an amazing deal with my Tastecard, allowing us to enjoy two meals for the price of one! I began with the bruschetta with mushrooms, which was delightful and topped with a balsamic glaze that added a wonderful flavor. For my main course, I had the Polo Ad Astra pizza on a Romano base, which was enormous and delicious. Throughout our meal, the waitress was very friendly and attentive, ensuring that nothing was too much trouble.

For my main, I had a goat cheese pizza with spinach, and wow, it was divine! I also got a side of chips, which were quite different and elegant. I loved that they were healthier since they were baked rather than fried, although they did have a bit of grease. I must say, the ambiance was beautiful, which really enhanced the experience! The only downside was that the staff had a little disagreement in front of the customers, which was a bit uncomfortable. But I was there with my best friend Clare, who had bruschetta for her appetizer and enjoyed a chicken and cherry tomato pizza! Overall, it was a lovely day!

Great service and delicious pizza. The garlic cheese balls (pictured here) were really a hit. The view was amazing as well.
