Contribuiți la feedbackWent to Petit Paris a year ago really enjoyed it but was a little disappointed this time. The fish soup starter was really just a crab bisque. lucky for me I like crab, but it wasn't what was expected. Venison casserole was very tasty but the venison a little tough. My partners boudin noire starter was very nice, but the fish casserole main was watery very salty. service was friendly during the meal, but we were being chased out of the door at 10.20 on a Friday night as they wanted to close.
A fun place to eat due to the good humour and professionalism of the staff. The food was excellent as was the wine and all very well priced. A notable vote of confidence was the number of French visitors eating there too. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Edinburgh and we will recommend it to all our friends.
Petit Paris, Grassmarket, Edinburgh This little place looks really unassuming from the outside, but quickly filled up with bookings so is very popular and for good reason. There are approx 6 choices from each course and you are served wine in tumblers very gallic! Snails are available for the adventurous. I had the Toulouse sausages (fantastic! while the rib eye steak melted in the mouth. Waiters were fantastic and very attentive. Would definitely eat here again.
We really enjoyed Petit Paris the food was wonderful, the service was attentive and personal we felt very special!
Our first visit in some time reminded us of the vibrant charachter filled environment that is Petit Paris. On a busy saturday evening the food, service and general ambience were all of the highest order. We won't leave it quite so long to return next time.
