Ocean Spice - Edinburgh

We ordered a takeaway meal consisting of chicken pathia and a king prawn biryani with sides of peshwari naan and poppadoms. The most disappointing part was that both dishes lacked meat. The biryani only had 4 prawns, which cost £10.95, and they tasted like watery frozen prawns rather than being cooked with the sauce. The pathia had only 6 pieces of chicken. The peshwari naan was dry and both sauces were mediocre in flavor. Overall, we were not satisfied with our meal and would not return or recommend this restaurant.

Every time we go to stay in Leith we always have a takeaway from Ocean Spice but this time the quality of food was terrible, won't be ordering again.... onion Bahjis were burnt and the meat samosas also to much overfill on potato, we ordered Rogan Josh supposed to be hot NOOOO...... fire what so ever it was too sweet, the keema naan burnt no meat inside and the keema rice smelled raw, we ordered from Just Eat the original time had 45 mins added so we expected everything being exceptional but sadly we couldn't be so wrong very very disappointed sorry guys you let us down

We ordered takeout from this restaurant and were impressed with the delicious flavors and fresh ingredients. The food was reasonably priced and the service was outstanding.

The food at Ocean Spice was delicious, but unfortunately the customer service, especially from the delivery person, was lacking. There were also lengthy wait times for delivery.

We are order from Ocean Spice over 4 years -is fantastic! -the food is always fresh and tastes deliciously! Staff are always very polite and nice.
