Mcdonald's - Edinburgh

This is a fast-food restaurant, so I won't give it a rating. However, I found the cleanliness to be lacking. Their recycling efforts seem more like greenwashing than genuine sustainability. I separated my paper from plastic and was on my way to the designated bins when a staff member took my tray and disposed of everything in the general waste bin. It was quite disheartening to see. I would love to see a real improvement in their recycling policy.

In a small order and collection area, a more organized system is essential. It felt chaotic, with people unsure if they were waiting to place an order or to ask a question. My order was missing a bottle of water, and when I returned to inquire about it, three staff members were busy assisting one customer at the till. I had to ask someone at the counter who was occupied with another order. Additionally, the order screen I used didn't have a receipt printer, and the area for holding orders was completely open. The cleanliness of the place was also a concern; it had a grimy and greasy feel. We even had to wipe down our table before using it. Overall, it wasn't a great experience for me. The food was what you would typically expect, but the service and environment left much to be desired.

The food was ok, the place however looked like a battle had taken place. No till rolls in any of the ordering machines, the toilets were an absolute disgrace to be honest. The men's anyway, smell like stale urine, the walls look like there had been stuff on the walls for months, the floor sticky, the hand soap dispenser holding on for dear life, one of the mirrors was missing. All in all one of the worst I've seen

We had a long day travelling, from Somerset to Edinburgh airport, and we were hungry! Mac 's was the least choice to eat but other places we wanted to go, were shut. Hubby didn 't enjoy his burger, and chips weren 't that hot! Mine was ok. I had a veggie burger and chips. The toilet was disgusting, puddles on the floor and it smelled of wee! It wasn 't from the tap, as it 's not leaking? I can only assume someone who was drunk and missed the toilet bowl, or someone just couldn 't be bothered to pee in the bowl! There were two security guards inside, and they say it 's trouble there? That explains it all

Perhaps one of the most profitable McDonalds per square foot in Britain? It was really busy when we asked for food on a Saturday after drinking, and the TVs that tell you what commands were prepared/prepared have been broken, but the staff has absolutely crushed the food. Also good moods from all fellow customers.
