La Riva Pizzeria - Edinburgh

We made a reservation at the restaurant, but when we arrived, it was locked and closed.

The pizza here is excellent, and the service is impressively quick. There are plenty of menu options, including vegetarian selections and the choice of vegan cheese if desired. Our server, Martin, was fantastic, and the chefs even took the time to check in with us. The profiteroles for dessert were incredible. It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, but it’s a lovely place. I would definitely recommend visiting!

This restaurant is right on our doorstep, and we were really excited to give it a try. We're so glad we did! Our waiter, Andrew, was hilarious, friendly, and incredibly attentive. He really made us feel welcome with his great conversation. The place has a cozy atmosphere, and the bar area looks like a fantastic spot to enjoy cocktails—especially the delicious espresso martini! The food was amazing and offered excellent value for money. They have a fantastic lunch menu deal, so we will definitely be coming back!

On a Friday evening, I had a craving for beer and pizza, and I stumbled upon this little gem. The pizzas are incredible, and the tiramisu is the best I’ve had outside of Italy. It has the perfect blend of liqueur, mascarpone, and all the right flavors. The staff is extremely friendly, and it reminds me of a cozy little restaurant in northern Italy (except they actually understand my accent here). You won’t regret paying a visit!

So glad that we got this place a dish, really delicious and fresh pizza and got a fun waiter. would definitely recommend as much more beautiful than the big chains!
