Contribuiți la feedbackI ordered some light dessert bites at 11:20 PM on a Monday night with an estimated arrival time of 11:40 PM, which I found to be optimistic considering the restaurant is only a 15-minute drive from my location. At midnight, I called for an updated arrival time and was informed that the driver had already left and would be arriving shortly. By 12:20 AM, I called again and was placed on hold while they tried to reach the driver. Eventually, the driver arrived, seeming unaware of the previous issues. He handed me the food, which included cold milk and cream-based desserts that were not properly packaged and had become warm and mushy. As he handed me the food, the bag ripped and I dropped a milkshake on the floor, luckily it was wrapped in clingfilm and remained intact. I tried to discuss the issues with the driver while still on the phone with the restaurant, but it seemed to be dismissed as a simple misunderstanding. Ultimately, I should have trusted my instincts and sent the food back as the hot food was cold, the cold food was warm, and the cookies were burnt. Overall, not worth the wait and hassle in my opinion.
Ordered the a beef burger, potato wedges, a vegetarian pizza and a 4 cheese pizza. Food arrived at the estimated time. The wedges were likely store bought frozen. Same with the beef patty. Would not recommend either of them. The vegetarian pizza was not bad and had lots of toppings. The 4 cheese pizza however was phenomenal. It was cooked to perfection and tasted great. My only feedback for both pizzas would be to take it easy on the salt in the sauce. At 50% off I would order the pizza again.
I waited an hour and a half for the pizza to arrive. I called the restaurant around 6-7 times for a delivery update and the phone rang out every single time. When it eventually arrived, one of the pizzas was undercooked. Pale, soggy and doughy in the middle and inedible. Very disappointing, and unable to even reach someone on the phone to feedback. The order was through Deliveroo, so thankfully they have given a refund, but I won’t be using Hey Pizza again.
The delivery was more than an hour late past the latest estimated delivery time. When I called, I was put on hold for 20 minutes! The two pizzas arrived lukewarm and the halloumi was terrible. The owner, Jordan, who eventually took my call, informed me that they were extremely busy and promised me a discount on my next order due to the long wait. However, I am hesitant to order from them again, especially since my gluten-free pizza was cross-contaminated. People with celiac disease should be cautious when ordering from this restaurant.
If I could give a rating lower than 1, I would. The customer service and pizza were shocking. It took over an hour and 20 minutes for my order to be delivered to an address just 10 minutes away after midnight on a Thursday night. I phoned to inquire about my order, but received no answer from the shop. After back and forth communication on messenger, the pizza finally arrived, but it was very cold and inedible. I immediately informed them of the issue and requested a refund, but they refused, stating that a cold pizza did not warrant a refund. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I believe that I deserve a refund for the wasted money on a cold pizza. Their unprofessional behavior extended to arguing with me publicly on Facebook. It is unacceptable for a business to behave in such a manner. The owner of the shop also told another customer to just reheat their cold pizza, which is appalling.
