Contribuiți la feedbackThe drinks are nice but do not recommend you go for food. The kids cheese pasta was watery and had next to no flavour to it. It left me feeling sick and empty. The portions are way to small and expensive. Most things in the afternoon tea are fine but the coffee cake was moist and rubbery and the chocolate one was bitter.
Don’t expect anything fancy. The food is like any other department store canteen, poorly cooked. The view is nice, and would be an idyllic spot for morning coffee but the open canteen with its lack of dividers and soft furnishings to soak up noise, lacks any capacity for relaxation. If you are shopping in Harvey Nichols and really can’t be bothered to carry shopping bags to any real restaurant or cafe, try it. Avoid it in all other scenarios.
Visited here a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. 3 course set menu with a cocktail £28. Fantastic value and the food was great. Cocktails were some of the best we had in a long time. The image of the pig bell main dish makes it not fair, it was wonderful. Great views even over Edinburgh when the weather is beautiful. Try it for these prices, you have nothing to lose.
Very recommend a visit to lunch, very delicious fresh, elegant food. Service was fast, attentive and very friendly. Must look over Andrew Square when you visit Edinburgh for a few days. Great also as a brunch place with excellent drinks options.
The Staff were very friendly and the outdoor seatings are amazing, the food was really good especially the french toast (One of the best if not the best french toast in Edinburgh) It is better to reserve a table before going there
