Chaophraya Thai - Edinburgh

This restaurant offers stunning views of Edinburgh Castle in the background, making it a perfect setting for a meal. The ambiance is wonderful and we visited during a quiet time. The restaurant layout is well-designed, with great customer service from friendly staff. The food was delicious, not overly spicy but full of flavor. The portion sizes were generous and satisfying. This is a must-try for anyone who enjoys Thai cuisine.

I did the cooking Thai class at Chaophraya with my wife. Stephen was a really good host. Everything was incredible. Not only we learned a lot but also had fun. Tum, the chef, was one of a kind too! so friendly and professional, he's a total pro. Both of them were doing jokes which made the time go so quick.They are such a nice people and Chaopraya Edinburgh should be really proud of having them in their team. I will definitely do a Thai cooking class again and recommend it to all my contacts! We tried Chaophraya before and it was delicious. Having tried in our own hands all the ingredients and the dishes we cooked we are even more in love with the restaurant.

Fancy busy Thai restaurant, with excellent views of Edinburgh City. Had the extravagant Celebratory menu, which brought plenty of food! Lovely cocktails. Excellent venue for special occasions.

I dined at this restaurant on Monday afternoon as a special birthday treat, and it was truly exceptional. The stunning location on the rooftop terrace offered beautiful views of George Street and Castle Street, overlooking the castle.

Wow! This restaurant in Edinburgh is one of the most modern ones I have been to, with a fabulous lounge on the top floor offering a stunning 180-degree view of the city. The kitchen is well-lit, and the mango sticky rice is a delightful twist on the traditional Thai version, with sweet rice and a savory coconut sauce. It was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully on the plate. I wish I could give it a rating of 100/100! I also highly recommend trying the pineapple fried rice. Unfortunately, the tom yum soup was not up to par in terms of taste and authenticity. Overall, I would still give this restaurant a total of 5 stars for the incredible atmosphere and delectable dishes.
